To lose fat it is essential that you minimize you stress to lower your cortisol levels. Chronically high cortisol is associated with higher body fat, particularly around the mid section. This means that no matter how much you exercise or eat healthy, you’re unlikely to lose fat if your cortisol is elevated because of how cortisol makes the body insensitive to insulin.
This is the most difficult part most people find. Nutrition is a key element of your journey. The internet is a minefield of information, some good and some not so much. Start by cleaning up your current diet and making small changes. Eat from the earth as much as possible and remove refined processed foods.
Whilst most would think the 1st go to would be cardio, we highly recommend strength training. Ample research shows that strength training should be at the forefront of your fat loss journey. Strength training is essential because it will but fat, burn calories, improves insulin sensitivity and glucose uptake and it makes you stronger. It also produces a more favourable muscle building response, which in turn raises your metabolism to support a leaner body composition
