Below are 4 strategies you can implement that will help you feel more in control.
Take time out from social media & news – social media has its good & bad aspects , if you’re feeling overwhelmed by what you’re reading minimise the time you spend browsing thru social media. Limit listening to the news to once daily.
Meditate – take time in your day to sit still & clear your thoughts. Practice breathing to control your emotions better.
Journal ✍️✍️- put your thoughts to paper, this is like a brain dump, it will also serve you months later when you read back.
Walk - feeling overwhelmed with the thoughts in your head ? Put your headphones in & go for a long walk. Preferably in the countryside . Not only you’ll be exercising which produces our happy hormone serotonin but it will help you clear your mind
