4 strategies that will help you feel more in control

We can’t always control the situations around us but we can take control of how we handle our thoughts.
If you don’t control what you think you can’t control what you do .
Below are 4 strategies you can implement that will help you feel more in control.

Take time out from social media & news – social media has its good & bad aspects , if you’re feeling overwhelmed by what you’re reading minimise the time you spend browsing thru social media. Limit listening to the news to once daily.

Meditate – take time in your day to sit still & clear your thoughts. Practice breathing to control your emotions better.

Journal  ✍️✍️-  put your thoughts to paper, this is like a brain dump, it will also serve you months later when you read back.

Walk - feeling overwhelmed with the thoughts in your head ? Put your headphones in & go for a long walk. Preferably in the countryside . Not only you’ll be exercising which produces our happy hormone serotonin but it will help you clear your mind 
