When I was younger, I was quite overweight. I discovered Karate during this time and found something that I enjoyed and which also help me manage my weight. My passion for the sport grew as did my passion for training. Entering and winning International open Karate Championships, I won National Champion multiple times and Scottish Champion in 2015.
I began studying for my PhD in Biomedical Engineering, and around the same time discovered Bodybuilding which I loved. In 2018, I went on to complete my diploma in Personal Training, while remaining an Engineer in the Biomedical sector. Since then, I have competed in various competitions including the Maltese National Bodybuilding Championships for Men’s Physique, in 2019. This gave me the push I needed to focus entirely on my career as a personal trainer. I understood then, that this is where my true passion resides.

Areas of expertise: Being overweight myself when young, I know how it feels when starting out and trying to change your daily habits. Encountering challenges along the way to an improved lifestyle is something I am also familiar with. I understand just how much one has to push themselves out of their comfort zone, remembering how it feels when trying to lose weight and nothing seems to be working. I will offer the right advice when required, to push past the mental limitations in order to achieve the results you want. My desire as a personal trainer is to help others through this journey. I’ll offer support, the appropriate advice and expert guidance.
Where you’re likely to find me when I’m not at the gym: On a peaceful walk with my dog by my side!
